Carmel Assembly Pastoral Staff

Senior Pastor -- Rev, Keith M. Trump II

A native of Carmel, Pastor Keith holds a BA degree from Evangel University as well as a Master of Divinity from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, graduating summa cum laude. He is a charter member of Alpha Chi Honor Society at Evangel University. Pastor Keith earned multiple honors during his years of higher education, including Outstanding Greek Student, Thomas F. Zimmerman Scholarship winner, American Bible Society Scholarship winner, and the Zondervan Medal of Achievement for Outstanding Greek Studies. He was awarded the highest distinction of Outstanding Biblical Studies Graduate at Evangel University in 2000, as well as winning the prestigious Presidential Scholarship at AGTS for each of his years of study there.

Youth Pastors - Duran and Shannon Carder

Shannon was an original member of Carmel Assembly (along with her extended family) before moving to Florida in 2005. Earlier this year, she graduated from Southeastern University, Lakeland, FL, with a BA in Church Ministry and minors in Youth and Christian Counseling. Her husband, Pastor Duran, is a graduate of Masters Commission in Evansville and served under Pastor Pam Kneer and her staff for two years. He has had extensive hands-on ministry experience and continues his Biblical studies education. Duran holds credentials with the Assemblies of God and enjoys serving the Carmel community with Pastor Keith, who was honored to officiate the marriage of Shannon and Duran in July of 2008.

Children’s Pastors – Tim and Dee Trzil

Tim and Dee Trzil have both the drive and desire from God’s heart to see Carmel Assembly’s children’s ministries impact the kids of our city and change lives for Jesus Christ--in the most effective, energetic way possible. The couple were children’s pastors for 1½ years in Flint, Michigan at what is now called “Ignite Flint” before moving to Seminole, Florida. There, they teamed with children’s ministries at Suncoast Cathedral Assembly of God, working as leaders in reaching large groups of children. God’s awesome timing and power then moved them halfway across the country in October of 2009 to ignite that same fire with Kids Aflame.

Church Administrator – Carrie Ward

Carrie Ward became a member of Carmel Assembly of God when she and her family moved to Carmel in 2007. Originally from Michigan, she graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development. She has been married to her husband, Duane, for seven years and is the mother of 6-year-old son, Ethan, 4 ½ -year-old son, Isaac, and a chocolate Labrador named Savanah. Carrie manages Carmel Assembly of God's business office as well as being active in the hospitality, preschool, Missionettes, and nursery ministries. She enjoys serving in a variety of ways and is excited for all that God has in store for our church.
